Mission Statement

The mission of Legacy of Caring® is to improve the quality of early care and education for infants, children and their families, by helping sponsors, administrators and teachers acquire the resources they need to conduct effective and meaningful services.

Legacy of Caring® is especially committed to:

• assisting sponsors in reaching the highest quality in their services to young children and families
• conducting scientific research to advance policy and practice in early education, the care of young children and service to their families
• assisting providers, administrators and sponsors in providing services with optimum health outcomes for children and teachers in preschool and child care programs
• providing housing, transportation, recreation and continuing education services and programs that support professionalism and an improved standard of living for providers, caregivers and teachers of young children
• providing creative arts and literacy programs to enhance early learning

The commitment of Legacy of Caring® is to offer these services regardless of the resources of sponsors, administrators or families.

Our Vision

That every child receives tender care and excellent early education experience, whether at home or in centers with group care.
